How do I support my favorite College, University or High School?
Search engines are going generated over $10 billion dollars in revenue in 2008. Our goal is to send a portion of that money directly to Colleges, Universities and High Schools that you support. To start generating money for your School all you have to do is search. The more searches the more chances there are for you to help support your choice. GoodAlum.com is another way to help out your School in trying times without having to dig into your pocket, all you have to do is search and we will do the giving.

Where does the money come from?
Money comes from advertiser revenue that the site generates. Advertisers put paid placements on search engines through cost per click advertisements and pay for placement within the site. These results, called "Sponsored Results," are placed on the same pages as the search results. Money also comes from partnership with major corporations that are willing to give back a portion of purchases that are a direct result from using GoodAlum.com.
How much money does your College, University or High School receive?
GoodAlum.com is a search engine with a unique social mission which involves generously giving back to charity with every Web search and product purchase. We direct a minimum of 50 percent of revenues to the School designated by our audience. That revenue is rationed to schools based on the total number of searches performed for each School. Please note that image, video and site-specific searches are not included.
How does your College, University or High School receive their Donations?
GoodAlum.com currently sends out a check to Schools that have reached over $10.00 each calendar year during the month of December. GoodAlum.com sends the funds directly to the General Fund of the School unless other plans have been set between GoodAlum and the School.
How can the use of GoodAlum.com help your School?
GoodAlum.com allows alumni, students, parents and friends to make an immediate impact on current students, faculty, and staff.
What if I can't find my College, University or High School?
If your College, University, or High School is not listed when you are searching please contact us and let us know, so we can set it up.
Does Goodalum remember my School?
If your computer allows cookies, the last School designated will remain chosen. Please note, any time you or your anti-virus software clears your cookies or temporary files, you will need to re-select your School from any GoodAlum page.
Can users donate to more than one school?
Yes! Users can support as many Schools as they'd like, but only one at a time. You can change the designated school by clicking on the "X" box next to your current selection and then type in the name of the new School.
How should you not use GoodAlum?
You should not authorize or encourage any third party to directly or indirectly generate queries, impressions of or clicks on any Search Results, Links and/or Ad(s) through any automated, deceptive, fraudulent or other invalid means, including but not limited to through repeated manual clicks, the use of robots or other automated query tools and/or computer generated search requests, and/or the unauthorized use of other search engine optimization services and/or software.
